Hey this is fun! It looks like Gary Dierking has just about the best offering of plans. I just sent him an email asking whether Ulua plans/offsets would become available. Below is an illustration of a "Gibbons" rig for one of his proas. A Pacific Proa always has its amas to windward and "shunts" instead of tacking. To shunt, you actually reverse the direction of the boat and move the sail to the opposite end of the boat. On classic Polynesian vessels, I once read, the mast was physically muscled out of its mount and moved to a mount at the other end of the boat. This is the first time I've seen a rig like this one... very cool.
