Hey, that's great. That's just what I was looking for. I may even have enough plywood left over to make a dragon's head for the front and I can make it look like a viking ship. Well... sorta like one anyway.

I'm checking the rules to see how much duct tape I can use. If they have unlimited duct tape then I have a plan... I'm going to build a duct tape-on-frame kayak. Everyone else will be rowing 6-foot boxes, and I will have a 15-foot kayak, and one of the 2x4's will be carved into a greenland paddle. Shhhhh... don't tell anyone. (Yeah right, and I'm posting it on the net.) I figure with one sheet of ply I could cut the ribs and stringers. One 2x4 could also be ripped into stringers and floorboards. The ribs would basically be station molds with the centers cut out and with notches for the stringers. The skin, of course, would be duct tape.

I'll definately have to post pictures.
