: What a great looking kayak!!! When I built my first kayak, such problems I
: had. When I lofted my offsets, I was off 1/4 of an inch on a couple. What
: a undulating kayak I had!!!

Thanks to all for the nice comments.

I have had my share of interesting problems come up. I too was about 3/8" off on one point of one form. Fortunately I noticed it when I got the forms on the strong back and before I started stripping. I got really lucky. I could not wait to see what a strip would look like on the forms so I stapled on on the deck prior to flipping the boat. It was on the deck peak and and everything looked really natural ...until I layed this strip on and noticed the little bump that appeared. If I layed that strip mid way towards the sheer I may not have noticed it.

Anyway thanks again to everyone. I am sure I will be back for some more advice.
