In Response To: Other: Sealing deck rigging screws (Brian T. Cunningham)
Brian,
I use epoxy and it works fine. It's strong, does not leak, and I don't have to buy yet another supply. When it comes time to refinish, there are no problems with removing rubbery stuff or experiencing fisheyes. I don't have any trouble removing screws or nuts. I'm sure there are some products that work just as well, but I'm satisfied with the results.
Ted
: What's everyone sealing there deck rigging screws with?
: I assume your not just screwing them in dry.
: If you used epoxy they'd be in permanent, bad news when the strapping wears
: out.
