deck rigging screws going into what? If it's wood with washer and locknut on the back side then put tape on one side, dribble some 'poxy, let cure, re-drill, then put screw and nut in. sealant really isn't necessary you can if you want. If it's going into solid wood then drill, screw screw in and back out, swab hole with epoxy, let cure fully or partially, tab tip of screw with silicone then seat it. If the epoxy isn't fully cured then be careful with overtightening as the silicone can lube the screw too much and make it easy to strip if it's soft wood underneath. If the wood is cold then heating the hole up with a dryer will help suck the poxy in as after the heat is removed.
