~ I'm still thinking about painting the hull, either white or cream. I'll make the final decision when it's all glassed and I can see how the deck looks with the okoume.
~ I cut out the forms according to Vaclav's design, since I wanted to keep the beveled angles. If I had it to do over again, I'd round off the points on the forms for the aft deck and on the foredeck near the sheerline since they caused a bit of a hump problem here and there. Nothing the sander couldn't handle.
~ I used 3/16" bead and cove strips. 1/4" might be easier since the forms are so far apart.

I'm going for light-weight.
