: Your kayak is great! You did a fine job. Any trouble with the 1/4 luan? Is it
: fully 'glass sheathed?

: We went to a rowing regatta last Fall in Shreveport. Seems like a great place
: for a kayak.

I really liked the laun, it had no voids and was pretty, just overly heavy for this design although it feels good on the water, not fun to load or unload to the rack on my pickup, ha! Yes, it is totally sheathed in glass/kevlar. 6oz glass with 4oz football, and 2 layers of 6oz bias strips on the stems. 1.8 oz kevlar inside with extra unidirectional at seating and foot areas. 6" CF unidirectional tape under deck behind cocpit, 1.5" CF tape under the deck in front of cocpit, 4oz glass on both sides of deck. 6 or 7 layes of glass/CF in hatch recesses and combing.
