: I'm varnishing with the two part Interlux Perfection Varnish. The West Marine
: salesman verified with the Interlux tech person that this is in fact the
: Interlux Plus clear renamed and packaged. I like the gloss I am getting
: with the product. A respirator is a must as the
: fumes are terrible. I tried the System 3 waterbased LPU and didn't like
: its matte finish. It was easy enough to apply, but I found the finish to
: be hazy. I sanded it off and applied the Perfection Varnish. In the past I
: used Helmsman Spar Urethane with good results, but the abrasion resistance
: is nothing to brag about.

I am still a long way from final finishing but I have been duly considering these two treatments. System 3 caught my attention since it is water based, but it's downfall for some may be it's matte finish.
Do you happen to have comparitive photos showing the two finishes?
