I've got to admit that I got the idea for the CamClamps from looking at an edge clamp in a tool a catalog. I couldn't justify spending $15 per clamp considering how many you need for staple-less stripping. I built mine for $1.85 each.

I am considering the following improvements.

1. Springs on the cams so they exert some preasure to lock the cams with out me having to squeese them. Right now you have to use both hand work them

2. I need a better coating for the cams. Sandpaper tends to scratch the surface if they slip.

3. The CamClamps work great pressing the stip aginst the form while gripping the form. They don't do much to force the bead into the previous cove unless it is used between forms as shown above. I tried wedges but they just rotate the clamp. I am thinking about a couple of solutions to this. Anyone got some suggestions
