Well, I got home from work today and it didn't seem to be as much of a problem as it seemed when I finished up yesterday. I just glued the last "pre-football" strip on and it meets the strip on the other side more-or-less where it should.
It *was* a long day yesterday (no one but me at home) in a cold basement....
