I think Pygmy uses Thermarest seats.
I bought a SealLine Discovery Kayak Seat from REI for my Chesapeake. This is basically the same thing as a Thermarest.
I blow it up until my butt is off the bottom of the boat, then slowly let air out until my butt just touches the bottom. That setup has kept my posterior comfortable on a few 8 hour paddles.

Mine has fabric loops at each of the four corners. I glued little wooden pieces with holes in them to the bottom of my cockpit. I tie the seat in with these so it can't slide around. The picture on REI's website doesn't look exactly like mine. I can't see the loops. That might be a consideration...
