qurut = quroot = kashk = yazdie Notes: Reconstituted dry qurut (bottom picture) is an acceptable substitute for fresh.

I'd grate the "rock" to make small shreds and add those into some cool water.
It is jsut powdered yougurt then , so it should mix like powdered milk.
Maybe mix that in a blender to get it to dissolve.
If a grater doesn't work you might consider the random orbit sander and a fresh sheet of 60 grit sand paper
