Toggle type carrying handles are the safest way to hang on to a kayak in surf (if you are outside the kayak). However, the thump, thump noise they make while paddling drives me nuts. So I came up with this simple method of tying the cords and stowing them to eliminate the noise. Hope some of you find it useful.
