Hi Grant,

I was out to visit Joe Last June and had the chance to watch him make a seat. His seats are top notch and I highly recommend them. But I have to agree with Brain, minicell is very easy to work with. I've made five seats now from minicell and it only takes a couple hours. It took me a bunch of trial and error to finally get a seat I'm happy with, but that was dew more to changes in paddling ability and technique.

I would go fot it, it's nice to say to made the whole boat including the seat!! But if you aren't comfortable about the shape you just want it done Joe are the nicest!
