S&G: sanding through sealer coat

So,
I've been slowly building a six paneled hull of my own design and am getting ready to glass top of the deck which is already bonded to the hull, today I applied the sealer coat which revieled quite a few sanding blemishes I couldn't see when it was dry. Now the epoxy has absorbed into the scars making them much darker than the rest of the wood. My question is can I sand through the seal coat once hard and then reseal the areas I sand through without creating a bunch of blotchy patches? I'm using raka 127/350 on BS1088 okume incase that helps. Thanks in advance for any help, I've been lurking on this board since august and couldn't have made it this far without the wisdom presented here,
-Chad
