I have used a "Kerosun" stove during all of my glassing so far and have had no problems. I have also found good results taking the additional steps of storing my epoxy and hardener indoors and placing it on a heating pad while I am using it. Everything I read before starting glassing indicated that it was important to get the epoxy up to "kick" temperature before using it. I also let it sit in the mixing cup a few minutes to make sure it is kicking off before I spread it out. For the record, I am using West 105 resin with 207-sc hardener.

One thing I have found is that I do get some bubbles in the epoxy when my heater is really cooking. They disappear when I turn it off and let the area cool down.
