Several people already do designs that are very similar to quilting. I have found a lot of uses for my wife's quilting designs in woodwork with chests, boxes, chip carving, etc. Her embroidery designs are quite adaptable. This is a good thing since her sewing machine is hooked up to a network computer and cost more than all 4 networked computers, printer, scanner, access point, router, etc. that I have in the home. I will also peruse other sewing, quilting, and embroidery designs to adapt to kayak building. Ain't life grande?
