Where abouts are you on the Central Coast?? Depends on above or below the Bay area. If below, or close to the Santa Cruz area, you probably know about Watsonville. ??? Jackel Ent. http://www.jackelenterprises.com/

They have a dynamite yard there with WRC, AYC, Rwd and all the hardwoods. They even have some marine ply. I and a couple of others have been there and if You are interested in redwood construction, they have a ton of recycled redwood from ole water tanks, and when resawn ( by them ) it is all clear heart, old growth and absolutely gorgeous. I was there late last year and they had tons of W.R.C. and A.Y.C. in all lengths, rough sawn, or you can get it resawn or planed to whatever you want. They also had a lot of 2" rough ( clear ) pine.

They let you select whatever you want as long as you clean up.
Sign up on their mailing list ( when it pops up on the screen ) and they will send you a list of specials when they have them.

I live in Fresno and it's a 2 1/2 hr drive, but, it's the only place I could find around that had it ALL.

It would be worth the drive, and if you'd like to try it out let me know and I or some of the others in the area can direct you there.
