Epoxy: 9oz tape on seam OK?

I just taped the inside seam and the deck and hull are hopefully attached permanently.
The 9oz tape I used seemed to wet out ok but will it wet out good enough for the outside?
Just looking for some more reassurance, getting the don't screw it up jitters as I get closer to having it in the water.
