Oh man...every time I turn around there is a new boat I want to build. I'm sure you have mentioned this but where can one get the pvc material you are talking about? I have never built a skinned SOF, but some that I use to build many years ago were basically an SOF with a thin plywood skin (dare I say it? $3 a sheet paneling) and then fiberglassed. Anyway...I might just build one of the frames again and try one of the skins. The PVC sounds good. I'm not yet in retirement...but I can see the light far ahead....
