The boat looks great so far!! Nice work.
I fit the keel strips on my Guillemot once I got to the point where I could run two strips down the center of the keel. This divided the hull into two football areas. I worked the keel then the sheer side of each football area. Once down to the last strip, I placed masking tape over the small opening, rubbed it with a pencil. I put the tape on a strip, cut it to shape, and fit in place.
