First and Most Important:
Gods Blessings, my Respects and best wishes to the Families, Friends and Co-Workers over the loss of Columbia and Crew this weekend. Such a tragic loss!!
**************************************
Well, it's been kinda slow this weekend and although there are probably a lot more projects going that would be better eye candy ( out there, not here ), I just thought I'd pop in and "Stick" this pic. on the wall, grab a pickle from the barrel and head on back to my chores.
This would be my first of 3 S o F boats I'm buiding this winter/spring season. This one is being built following ( as best as possible ) Mark Starr's process from his book. This particular frame is 11'5" long as is, and will be the better part of 12'+ when stems are added. I've stopped here in order to start on the 13'+ model, to be built ( as best as possible ) from Robert Morris' book. I want to build from both methods in order to get the ideas and construction methods behind both and then pick and choose which and what I like best. Then I will build my boat, approx. 17'er, from those ideas/methods.
I want to get both boats to the point of rib production and attachment so that I can do them all at once. The Morris style ribs will be bent freehand and the Starr style ribs will be bent over molds ( although I may slightly modify the molds to try something slightly different ). But... that's another topic for another slow weekend.
The poor picture is the product of an old polaroid and there really are lights on in the dining room, but this camera is good for about 6' and not much more. I have a 135mm camera full of pictures that are " to be developed " but not for a few more days, so this is it.
Now, it's back to house remodel projects. More to come......

P.S. ( the boards on the right are the " apummaqs to come " for the Morris Frame #2, to be started this evening or tomorrow evening. Today is clean up and a few little diddies to do in my ongoing remodel here )
