Hi there,
this question seems to come up a lot. I don't think the spray on glue is the best. You can use ordinary wood glue and apply it to the wood with a wet sponge. Then press your paper onto that. Its dry in seconds and won't come loose. Use as thick a paper as you reasonably can.
