: Another useful tool as an alternative to a long file is the SS micro plane
: that Lee Valley sells (about $13 canadian - they also market it as a
: kitchen grater!). They are very sharp when new, very nice for removing
: material, and because they are long and flat, easy to get a feel for the
: correct angle. (Hey Mike, how's it goin'? When shall we see your yak?)
i think that micro plane might be a little macro for the fine work and maybe if going across the grain, could get tearing.
i'm still stalled on the glassing of the difficult areas, but have been taking so much heat lately (daren and roy, the dogs)that when i get the dwgs done, i'll be building a s&g to actually get out there.
working on yr second one yet?
