How far past form 8 should the strips that run down the center of the front deck (from the bow to the cockpit area) go? I know that the cockpit recess starts between forms 8 and 9 but I'm trying to decide whether these center strips should get stapled to form 9 or should just be left hanging part way between forms 8 and 9.
