: Anyone know of a kit kayak called "Country Ways"? Who's the
: manufacturer/designer? I bought a stitch & glue kayak that (I was
: told) was built from a kit. The guy I bought it from was the second owner
: and didn't have much history on it, other than the name. It may have been
: built in either North or South Dakota if that makes a difference. It is
: 14' long, 26" wide, hatches fore and aft. Pretty nice little craft.
: I'm not sure that he even had the name right.

: So ... does "Country Ways kayak kit" ring any bells?

Ken,

Attached is an ad from the March, 1983 Issue of "Canoe" magazine.
The only reason I remember this kayak is it's close similarity to a British
kayak kit I built in 1973. Country Ways also has an add for an S&G canoe
in the same issue.
