I have filled the staple, nail, and misc flying debri (oops) holes in the boat. The areas around the holes are now darker in color, due to the epoxy, than the rest of the wood. Is this a problem? I know it would be were I staining a piece, and I would have to match or sand. Should I sand it all down to the same color as the bare wood, or will the epoxy blend in once the whole boat is covered?
I have stopped, analyzed, fretted, procrastinated, and then completed practically every step to this point. I find myself at that point again, despite the fact that each time I have moved on from here I ended up syaing, "that wasn't too bad." This board continues to be a great resource. So I figured that I would post this concern/question.
