I'm ready to varnish. I've read about troubles people have had with store bought tack rags. Does the homemade variety cause any problems? The recipe I was gonna use is as follows:

Dip a lint free cloth in warm water and wring out.
Wet it with turpintine.
Sprinkle on varnish until the rag turns yellow.
