Hello Lee, My son and I did his Artic Tern with no problems and one of them we used the wrong tape, heavy ,not light. We did it with the same idea as the use of peel ply in vaccum bagging. Everything very wet and the excess to bleed out to the sides and lots of red bricks on top of a MDF platen. I did make a 3'X16'OSB ply floor that was flat but not as smooth as plywood. I agree that tape is not worth the time you have to spend on the edges.
