Thanks Pete! Nice picture.

Yah, I have been snipping them off at a blunt angle, but my tin snips disappeared when I meved up here last year. I need to get some more tools and a sharp pair of snips will be on the list.

Of course there is no way to totally avoid poking yourself when you are wrestling a 20' porcupine. But, combining many of these tips will help reduce the chances of a nasty one and won't add a step that would require revisiting all the wires again..
