Electrical wire nuts

In Response To: S&G: how to avoid sharp points? *Pic* (Shawn Servoss)
Go to HD and buy some wire nuts in the right size (they make them in several different sizes/colors) and put one on every wire. Instead of the boat looking like a porcupine, your 'yak will look like a porcupine in hair curlers.
Just snip the wire and toss it complete with wire nut when finished. The wire nuts are really cheap.
