Not with the one I built. I have a space between two blocks of foam for exactly that purpose. There's room to stretch out one leg at a time. The two blocks of angled foam are glued to 1/8" plywood, which in turn has velcro on the backside for attachment of foam spacers of various thicknesses. It's comfortable and sturdy. My next boat will have exactly the same setup.
