Yes, as Grant says, I think my panels slipped when I was cutting
them. I don't think it was the paper plan itself - it was after they
were marked, the plans removed, and the two mirror images hot glued
together. While I was cutting near the tips the hot glue broke loose
and the two panels slipped relative to one another so I ended up
cutting one of them inside the line.

In general I'd say my biggest mistake was trying to cut to the line
with the jigsaw when I cut the panels out. You want to cut well outside
the line, then plane or sand to get down to the line. You'll end up
with better edges and a more accurate shape.

On the other hand, being a little off isn't going to ruin the boat.
I had to get a little creative with the inlaid walnut arrow, but I
think in the long run it won't affect the structural integrity any.

I haven't made a lot of progress lately. I was out of town for a
week and a half and it's taken me a while to get back up to speed.
I've got the outer deck glass and the coaming made and I'm now
filleting the inside of the hull. I've still got the hull forms
on the strongback, so I figured I'd do the "top" surfaces first -
outer deck and inner hull - then switch to the deck cradles and do
the inner deck and outer hull.
