it's fun suggesting stuff to folks,,demo time!,,one of the problems with putting heavy but averaged height people into bigger boats is that often the bigger boat is sized for the taller higher horsepower person,,so the heavier person can be stuck with a big boat that is hard to maneuver. With his lower height I bet he could turn the ArcticTernHi into a fun boat with the seat about an inch off the bottom,,it would be tippier but it's an idea. The Queen Charlotte xl is a good idea from a maneuverability standpoint and would take his weight to keep it from blowing away in the wind.
