Journalists have a good saying in "Kill your darlings", meaning that when you get stuck upon a special item it´s probably only you that notice the same.
Some years ago I worked at a science center as a technical producer. When building exhibitions we used to take in some specialists and artists to get some special touch. From them I learnd a lot, we had a very fruitful cooperation during the work and birth of these exhibitions about nature-science combined with art.
One say from that time is "when the light is turned down and the spirit(booze) is served, nobody takes any notice in the little flaws you had to leave".
And by the way, the spirits must have some spots to came in and out off the creation. Thats why you must leave some flaws and you can be excused.
Everytime you get stuck upon things you learn something and can go further next time.
They who make a absolute perfect result has nothing more to learn and that must be an utterly frustrating situation. Nothing more to learn!!! Downhill in every direction!!!! Must be hell.
War has never solved any problems, only created new ones. And it´s not the warlords, presidents or dictators that dies, it´s common innocent people like you and me.
