These are just the types of tips I was looking for in terms of motivation. What better place to find this type of information than here? Something tells me people on this site don't spend huge amounts of time in front of the T.V. In summary I heard the following: avoid perfectionism; starting is hard so once you start, keep going; come up with a specialty project; get a beater boat and get on the water with that; do a fun project (love that paddle and the directions, Brad);develop a metaphysical philosophy; list the steps; and pain and pleasure are more closely related than you know.

I've been goofing off with this decorative strip and pushing my completion time back further and further into the summer, but with my new-found motivation, I'm okay with it...
