: Has anyone had any luck trying to steam bend cedar strips. I am building my
: secound boat. Built a Georgian Bay that I had no trouble with. I am now
: building a "Wee Two" double paddle canoe from Rob Macs plans the
: bow and the stern seem to have compound turns and I am having alot of
: trouble bending the strips. How is cedar to bend in a steam bender. I have
: heard that light woods like cedar do not work well with steam.

don't know about steaming cedar but most people seem to go with a heat gun i belive this is also rob's perfered method
