I have one that fits on a Cape Charles or a Spring Run. I made a flat platform, with sides extending outward and down, at an angle that puts the flat above the deck curve. The flats of the sides have gasket on them not to scratch the deck. And it attaches with the deck bungees, hooked over two pcs of dowel set at the correct angle to hold it... Onto the platform is mounted a rod holder and a small tackle box. Also attached to it are my bait box and my net... I use it for trout fishing.
: I am building a pygmy kit and have everything done exc. the varnish. I would
: like to mount a fishing rod holder on the forward deck. Something I can
: take off when I'm not using it. Any one out there have any experience with
: this?
: Thanks
