I'm with Jay...while I live in a much cooler climate than you do, I'd wait at least a week before "destructive testing".

If your mix ratio isn't off, the epoxy probably wasn't fully cured. If the epoxy isn't cured, the glass is tougher than the epoxy and will delam. If the epoxy is fully cured (and mixed properly), the glass will shear/break/ or tear.
