Well I finally completed the end pours. I had to put a lamp inside the boat and put the ends in warm water to get it to cure. As it was still a bit cool outside, 40 something degrees.
Now I’m applying System Three LPU for my UV protection. So far it brushes on ok, but thin coats need to be applied or I end up with runs. I put the first coat on with an expensive brush recommended by S3 but found that the cheap foam brushes work better.
Any advice on applying LPU? Like I said its going ok but not perfect. Some brush strokes are visible and I’m getting better at avoiding runs. Will the brush marks fill in with more coats or will I need to sand them out?
Thanks
