: On the strip surfaces where the hull will eventually meet the deck, do I use
: a bead, or a cove, or try to do a rolling bevel?
I followed Nick's advice and used a rolling bevel (removing the bead and leaving the cove). It being my first one, I doubt that it's as good as it could be, but there was a recent discussion addressing this. After both hull and deck are stripped and glassed you can do some minor adjustments to how they meet.
I started my Night Heron about 6 weeks ago, and I'm nearly done with the stripping. The only extra bit of advice I wish I'd had back then was to buy and use a heat gun (you may already have one - I do now ).
Good luck with the stripping.
