Try George Dyson, who wrote the book "Baidarka". It seems to work best to contact them by phone, although they will eventually respond to e-mails. For my Morris-inspired West Greenland Kayak, I used the 12-ounce ballistic nylon that Dyson sells. I think it was right about $5 per linear foot ($100 for 20 feet).
