: It sounds like you've done great prep, but that description really makes me
: think of blush... :|

interesting, sorry, but I wasn't clear in my descriptions, I write almost as bad as I speak. To quote Bruce Willis in "The Fifth Element" :

"Hold it, lady, I only speak two languages; English and bad English."

The undercoat stuck, the glass per se peeled off, shattering to rest of the epoxy, the "overcoat" The epoxy is supposed to be blush-less, which I don't believe any of the claims, there always is some free amines...the accelerator can only trap so much of the free amines. The funny thing is that the resin and hardener is the same, from C-G...that's what made me think it was the accelerator the first time because no one was really claiming bad batches en masse for the resin and hardener. Well, we'll see...I used the 127/610 a little bit ago. A real thick paint-on, then laid the 2 inch s-glass tape, then rolled it down, then painted on more epoxy, then painted the area for the cheek plate reinforcement. Next, I mixed mahognay dust to make a peanut butter goo, painted the blocks and the area, stuck 'em in place and wedged mechanically tight against the cheek plates and hull, painted the rest on, said a silent prayer, then whined at the back door till Rikki handed me a big glass of vino. I think I deserve to sit in the hot tub and get snockered.

:
: It would be interesting if it can be attributed to an epoxy difference. Just
: for kicks, you could call Larry at Raka and get his opinion.

Will do...
