Good point however, 3,2 oz triaxial glass is made for surfboards and model airplanes. Good, and QUICK wet-out, but not too tight.
Using the standard 6 oz S-glass, the ubiquitous stuff we all use, it fails as well as the light stuff. Just in case, I did a test using the tape and regular roll glass, same results that led to failures.

take a peep at my reply to Jay's thoughts. It's something to do with the epoxy for sure. Yale thinks it could be the accelerator, I'm sensing it's the resin dilutants, or a series of contributing chemicals reactions.
