Oh yes that is a good thing to remember before starting the top. As you can see in the picture, you will have to cut the forms back a few inches more than the plans show to accommodate the recessed cockpit. Hopefully the picture will provide you with some ideas how. If I recall correctly I forgot to pre-plan this and had to hack the form in place to make it work. (not fun)
