what about the paddle lines at the front or rear where you cant get

I use a piece of wire to pull a piece of twine through the holes and then pull my paddle loop through and tie a fishermans knot to make the loop. I run all my deck lines after I finish skinning, and painting the boat. as Jay said the area around the coaming is where you'll get most of your water comng in.
