Jim, nice job on the finish and great yak. I have 2 s&g boats in need of refinishing. I think I will try the LPU.

I used the LPU on the Dragonfly (pic attached) and was happy with the
: results. The LPU does not give a HIGH gloss mirror finish, but it's plenty
: glossy for me. The photo was taken on a cloudy and gloomy day, BTW and you
: can see plenty of reflection in the surface. I don't think I'd try the
: matte finish...too dull and would probably show scratches more than the
: gloss finish.
