Thanks for the heads up on plate alignment. I'm just cutting out the plates this weekend and hope to start stitching later this week. Since this is my first kayak project, I am going slowly to try and avoid mistakes. Woodworking is an old skill for me but epoxy and fiberglass are new.

The Cirrus is a great project and I am already getting compliments from the neighbors and friends. My wife, however, is withholding judgment until she can get her car back into the garage.
