Uh, pardon me for asking a stupid question, but I was wondering, do you guys really drive cars and stuff out on the ice? I've always wondered how you can be so certain that the ice is not going to break. Can you really take a car out at, say 55 mph and just throw on the emergency brake and let it go spinning??? That would be really cool. I remember a movie I saw where a guy drove a Porsche across Lake Placid. I've always wanted to try that. I've heard the "urban legends" about the guy with the porsche that let it sit on the ice running and it melted through and sank, and then the cop that did the same thing chasing the porsche (same story, different version) and then of course there was the one about the ice fishermen who threw the dynamite and the dog (a retriever, of course) retrieved it and they tried to shoot the dog and so he hid under their new Jeep Cherokee and blew it up. You northerners are some crazy folks.

And one last thing, I see a car pulling a camper that appears to also be parked on the ice. I hope he doesn't build a campfire! Thanks for the photo, and nice yaks by the way.
