I have one on my Seward Ascente that was made here in Summerland BC a few years ago. It was installed by the manufacturer.

Shortly after I bought the boat I took some photos and gave them to my household insurance agent. The boat is stored in the house when not in use and is cable locked to my truck when on the racks.

Yeah it's pretty unlikely the police will drop everything to pursue the bad guys. But at least I have covered myself for insurance and in case I spot the missing boat I can call it in.

I intend to add a HIN to my S&G and go through the process of taking photos etc.
